Backyard boat Marine mechanic (Rochester)

Looking for a backyard Marine boat mechanic have an old 95 runabout with a 57 Merc cruiser and outdrive makes noise in reverse. Sounds like a spun bearing or something. I don’t have any clue though.
It is a 20 footcaravelle with a 5.7 L MerCruiser
