Wonderful vintage Cleveland Superior cornet made by King with a high quality Vincent Bach 7C cornet mouthpiece, AP&M USA lyre-style music clasp, and an original Cleveland felt-lined hard shell case (missing the Cleveland label). Depending on the reference site, the serial number indicates the horn was made in either 1957 or the early 1960s.
Features a combination gold lacquer and nickel plated finish, finely machined finger buttons, adjustable third valve slide ring, and a distinctive Cleveland Superior by King Craftsmen etching on the bell. Made in USA by the HN White Company out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Ready to go in excellent condition with minor scuffs and dings. Plays well with a good tone and good action on the valves and slides. Original case is missing some trim and has no spring action on the left clasp but is still in good useable condition. An excellent vintage cornet for any serious player in concert band, jazz band, and orchestra and a great addition to anyone's horn collection.
