Just pulled from the hatcher (4/21/2026.) These adorable little chicks are looking for some new homes. I have two breeds available for purchase. They are unsexed.
Rose combed Anconas, These chicks (pic 1) hatch out black with a yellow underside, Anconas have a rose comb which handles cold winter temperatures very well. Hens lay a large white egg and lots of them. Adult feathers are black with some white dots on the ends of some of the feathers ( pic 2,3.).
Dominiques. Chicks (pic 4) hatch out mostly black with an occasional yellow spot on their head. Dominiques lay a medium brown egg with a good rate of lay. They have a rose comb similar to the Anconas, which good for Minnesota winters. Adult feather color is called cuckoo, which is similar to barred, but the bars are not as distinct (pic 5.).
Please bring your own transport boxes. Looking forward to seeing you. John
