Our youngest has out grown our miniature horses so “Brindle” (kids named her) is looking for her new home. She is too good of a pony to be sitting around.
Brindle
Approximately 12 years old (vet/equine dentist estimate) black mare.
Stands about 38” tall
She is an excellent kids pony and helped build my kids confidence when they were younger. So we are hoping to find a home where she will be used not just a pasture pet. Like I said she is really too good to sit.
However you can pull her out after sitting a year and the kids can jump back on her like she was ridden yesterday.
She has only been ridden bare back here and at her previous home. The kids would ride her around the yard. We have had a saddle on her recently just out of curiosity and it didn’t seem to bother her but she is used to the kids just jumping on bare back and going.
She isn’t a dead head but is very trust worthy and has never bucked reared bitten or kicked while we have owned her be. She has a quicker pace, so a kid that likes to go but safely would be her best match.
She lifts her feet with ease and will stand quietly.
Loads onto a trailer easily. Gets along with our mixed herd.
Only blemish I can think of is her back hind has an old wire injury by her coronary band that has never bothered her doesn’t seem to affect her hoof and has had since before we have had her.
Cant say enough good things about her. Message for more info and videos. Serious inquiries only please. $2,000 located near Adams, MN
