1965 Ford Thunderbird Landau

390 – V8

119,309 miles

I bought this in 2008 from my grandfather who had it for many years after buying it from another family member. It runs and drives without smoking or leaks. After having my first child, I no longer have the time or funds to continue to enjoy this car. It is currently finished in vintage burgundy, although the gate slip and VIN plate indicate it was originally silver mink metallic.

It is equipped with power windows, safety and convenience control panel, selectaire conditioner (currently inoperable), radio with front and rear speaker. The original AM radio was replaced with an AM/FM aftermarket radio with similar vintage appearance. The mechanical clock does not work. The interior is in nice condition but does show some wear with holes in the headliner and tears on the door panel. Body does have some blemishes with apparent repairs made to the front driver’s fender, rust at the rear skirts, some flaking paint and other scratches. Landau top is in good condition. Rear tail-light mechanical sequencer was replaced with a new solid state aftermarket model. The heater lines are currently disconnected from the core.
