2000 Ford Excursion retrofitted with a Dodge 5.9 Magnum V8 engine, NV4500 manual transmission, divorced NP205 transfer case and 4.30 Ford axles. The intent was to build a highly reliable, go anywhere SUV with modern amenities and an old school drivetrain that could tow heavy loads while being easy to repair in the parking lot of any auto part store. This Excursion was my daily driver for 3-years and it never let me down. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. That said, this is a custom vehicle that cannot be taken to a typical repair shop. You must be willing to work on this vehicle yourself and/or have a trusted mechanic help you. Basic specifications are included with the photos, with full specifications available if interested. The parts in this truck are worth the asking price.
