He new boaters!! This is a perfect boat for you. We just did Ford 5.O V-8 complete overhaul, brgs, rings, try-angle valve job,new cam lifter, timing set,oil pump all new seals and gaskets last summer. We just (may 2025) refurbished the entire lower unit with new bellows, brgs, joints in drive shaft, all seals o-rings new fluids both cases. We have owned this boat for a few years and always repaired everything it needed. New battery, new tires, shift cables, electric choke repairs, bilge pump repairs, new cushion coverings new seat bases, recovered seat covers, clean carpets, power steering leak repairs, fuel line repairs, many things I'm sure Im forgetting more of these little repairs. We would fix everything as needed like you should as a good boat owner. We would take a newer boat with problems or issues. We are looking to get a bit newer boat. I would also take a smaller loader tractor and add cash with right deal. We just installed new tires on trailer,and greased wheel brgs.,also has brg buddys thanks
