4.3 Mercruiser, bimini top, and newer EZ Loader roller trailer. The boat is in extremely good shape.
I bought the boat as a project. It has been converted from a Volvo Penta drive to Mercruiser for ease and cost of getting parts. When I was doing the conversion I also rebuilt the transom and sealed the entire thing with fiberglass resin. It has a brand new steering cable and most of the boat has been rewired. It has a new electronic fuel pump and depth finder. Depth finder is the guage style not fish finder.
I completely rebuilt the engine. Sent it to a machine shop to have it cleaned and cylinders honed. It has new bearings, rings, valve seals, and gaskets throughout. But I'm guessing the ring gap is off. The compression is very high, it will fire but not start. May be an easy fix if you know engines.
Gears are shot in the upper gearcase on the outdrive, the boat has a 1.91 year ratio.
This could be a very nice reliable boat with a little work. Price is firm as I have a lot more into it than the asking price now counting all of the hours I have spent working on it. I am trying to minimize my projects as I am preparing for another military move.
